Gold Kintsugi Collection by Layla Love

The Gold Kintsugi Collection is a celebration of resilience, transformation, and the beauty found within imperfection. Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of kintsugi—mending broken pottery with gold—Layla Love reimagines this philosophy through her evocative artworks. Each piece illuminates the scars left by life’s experiences, transforming them into radiant symbols of renewal and purpose. By embracing flaws and adorning them with gold, Layla’s creations reflect a meditation on the value of healing, the passage of time, and the strength found in vulnerability.

Infused with a romantic golden glow reminiscent of Vienna afternoons spent studying the works of Gustav Klimt, this collection embodies the richness of texture, intimacy, and meaning. Each unique piece transcends replication, offering collectors a one-of-a-kind treasure that speaks to the kaleidoscopic nature of our world—a place where fractures unite to create something truly precious.

The Gold Kintsugi Collection is more than art; it’s a profound statement of hope, unity, and the enduring beauty of the human spirit. For collectors, these works offer not just aesthetic splendor but also an enduring narrative of life’s transformative power.

Wisdom Seekers

The owl represents the wisdom of nature. The woman has the owl pressed against her breast connecting us to the infinite wisdom of our heart. This reminds us all to follow our instincts and open to a more profound sense of knowing. This piece is designed to evoke joy, passion, and your one golden core. it is a mirror.

Mixed Beings

This artwork is created by painting emulsion and overlaying the photographic image onto the wooden board, which has been hand painted with 24K gold leaf. The image is a single image rather than a composite, meaning that Love was taking the photograph within three feet of the tiger with a wide angle lens with the painted avatar woman being literally right next to him. It takes a lot to surrender to that moment when you are face to face with this giant, yet majestic, angelic beast.

The intention of Mixed Beings is for the viewer to receive the gift of bravery from both this avatar being and a definite king of the jungle.

What is rare is precious, and what is precious is deserving of our respect.

Lion Heart

The Lion is the King of the Jungle -- the Queen of the wilderness also has a Lion Heart-- This piece is an ode to the fierce energies & the graceful prowel. The gold is inviting a touch of renaissance with an aim to evoke the masterpiece in you.

Core Intention

In preparing this artwork it was important that the application of 24K gold be a lighter, almost creamy gold in order to illuminate the dream-like quality invoked through this imagery. This image is an ode to lucid dreaming, to letting your head completely disappear and float into the stratosphere so that your heART and core can take center stage, finally having enough quiet to tell their stories and share their interpretations of the life you are living. There is nothing more beautiful than being able to surrender to the magnetism of your own heART’s calling. Allowing beauty to abound and surround.

this image was created in collaboration with painter Amanda Sage, assistant to Ernest Fuch, who was the primary assistant to Salvador Dali for over thirty years.

Fibonacci Love Affair

This image illustrates the consciousness of the infinite. Evoking the principles of physics and light. Everything that is shaped in the physical realms is born out of stardust. Fibonacci’s mathematical sequence can be found in nature's patterns and has been sited as evidence of a universe designed for love. Every molecule contains these complex sequences and sacred geometrical patterns which magnetize unity amongst all physical structures. As the Fibonacci sequence is directly related to the golden ratio, this image has been created using 24k gold to illuminate the precision & intelligence in all scalable patterns of nature.

An Ode to Picasso

printed on abalone, This abstraction is based on a vision of night swimming amongst phosphorescence. Replacing the blue waves with gold to illuminate the riches of our vast oceans and reveling in the fact that we get to be a drop within this intoxicating mAstery.

Picasso's work is largely inspired by the onset of photography. When He saw his friend's photographs of people swimming underwater, it inspired him to paint fractured beings based on the swimmers' bodies which were fragmented by the water. This artwork is an ode to the ways we inspire one another throughout

space & time.

The Fullest Bloom:
